Bordeaux is a port city on the Garonne River in the Gironde department in southwestern France. It is a Wine producing region which is well known for centuries for its great Red wines in the Medoc area (Left bank of the river), and in Saint Emilion. It is also producing fantastic sweet wines in Sauternes and Barsac. let us not forget the whites of "Entre deux Mers" and of "Graves" and also all the wines located on the right bank of the river which suffer from the reknown right bank famous grands crus classes, but are still very good and affordable wines (Cotes de bourg, Cotes de blaye etc...)
